Junior Volunteers The Junior Coach program is a great way to earn required community service hours for school while having fun and helping younger participants develop their golf and life skills. Students 14 years and older are encouraged to participate in the Junior Coach program. Junior Coaches can also be participants in The First Tee programs. Application and Training Once a completed Volunteer Application is received in our office, a brief telephone interview will be conducted by a staff member to help us understand your interests and available times. A criminal background check is also required and is paid for by The First Tee.
